A Bit About George B Miller

Another short story

I've always enjoyed writing, but since the very beginning life has got in the way. I was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland and graduated in Medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 1969. Emigrated with wife Athelene and wee Scots daughter Jennifer in 1970. Had two other Canadian children, Scott and Sue and now five amazing grandchildren *. Had a wonderful career in Family medicine and supervising the care of Alzheimer patients in a forward-looking long term care facility, but retired when I started to accumulate metal parts. It's great to have the time, the energy and the health to fashion the story ideas that come in the night. Hope you enjoy the stories as much as I did writing them.

The site is dedicated to my uncle Tommy Young, whose Scots poems were a delightful part of my growing up. He continues to write poetry at the age of ninety-something and proves that your life is not over until it is over.
